All the photos are on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram of our visitΒ
We are sorry we have been quiet the past week or more, but we have had a lot going on in the background. This is mostly a post of "Thanks".
We were delighted to host a visit to HM The King and The Queen when they visited Limavady this week and then a visit to our home and farm.
The Queen opened our new Pressing Room, and my good friend Paula McIntyre created a feast fit for a King in our home.
We were asked to bring invited local guests from the area who do amazing charitable gestures that usually goes unnoticed within our community.
We also hosted Minister Andrew Muir, the Blair family along with @ffc_commission and various regenerative farmers.
We kept this quiet as we were asked too, until a day beforehand, but we really want to thank our staff, and farm staff for all their work in the days beforehand, that basically pulled our farm together tidying and clearing up with no questions asked, very last minute.
It was a huge privileged for our family. Richard and I are immensely proud of our Jacob and Emily on how they handled the visit, considering they only found out last minute too. A huge ask of them, but they were courteous, and considerate, and took all in their stride while thrown into the media, and all that comes with these prestigious visits.
Thank you, to all the Royal Household, NIO, PSNI, and staff associated with the visit, whom I shall not name. We had months, weeks and lots of late night conversations, and discussions, but we made it work in the end.
Thank you to Nigel McFarland for the photos and all the other media who were present.
It was an honour. π
We intend to relax and enjoy remembering all the little conversations and special moments of our visit, which will last a lifetime.
