As our involvement in the PRISM programme continues to support innovation and sustainable manufacturing at Broighter Gold, we are delighted to welcome Emily Gault to our team as Research & Innovation (R&I) Coordinator.
Emily's appointment marks an exciting step forward in our commitment to research, development, and continuous improvement across the business. Working alongside our existing team and project partners, Emily will help coordinate innovation activities, support the development of new opportunities, and strengthen the links between research, industry collaboration, and practical application within our production processes.
Innovation has always been at the heart of Broighter Gold's journey—from transforming home-grown rapeseed into award-winning cold-pressed oils to embracing new technologies and sustainable manufacturing practices. Emily's role will help ensure we continue to build on that foundation, identifying opportunities that enhance efficiency, sustainability, product development, and long-term business growth.
We are excited to have Emily on board and look forward to the valuable contribution she will make as we continue to invest in the future of Broighter Gold and the wider agri-food sector.
PRISM aims to accelerate the adoption of low-carbon technologies among 24 SMEs across three key manufacturing clusters: Mineral Processing, Polymer Processing & Composites, and Agrifood. Activities are coordinated from SWC’s Omagh campus, with a reach extending across ten counties: Antrim, Armagh, Derry-Londonderry, Donegal, Down, Fermanagh, Monaghan, Leitrim, Louth, and Tyrone.
