On Friday 31st July 2023, Broighter Gold along with three other local artisan food producers where invited to meet with HRH Duke of Edinburgh as part of the Taste Causeway group at Mussenden Temple.
We were so honoured to have met the Duke. We are so delighted to say that the Duke seemed so interested in all that we do, how our products are made and what we use them for.
We were thrilled to gift one of our new gift boxes to the Duke, which he was delighted to take home to his wife and knew she would be happy to try cooking with our oil. The Duke laughed that he 'better remember what each oil was used for when he would be questioned at home'.
We were delighted to gift a beautiful Taste Causeway cook book, Chocolate Manor gift box, Broighter Golds new gift box and Giants Gin were all part of the collection.
