Today, Richard and I had the pleasure of welcoming Minister of State for Northern Ireland Robin Walker MP to our farm and pressing room.
The Minister had a tour of our farm, we explained the process of growing and producing all of our own rapeseed oil, wheat, barley and the new carrot plant.
It was nice to have a Minister with a farming background talk about the arable sector, food imports and export challenges and how we see our farm in the future. Also, about the impact of the environment and sustainable farming practices we already do here at Broglasco Farm.
The Minister also visited other businesses in Ballymena Moore Concrete to discuss the development of the NI Economy.
